The standard setup consists of specialized weatherproof modular Lithium Ion battery packs paired with new high yield solar panels. The modular system is easily scalable and can usually be deployed within 2 days using only 2 field engineers. Each Lithium Ion battery pack module comes with a minimum 10 year warranty and an optional 15 or 20 year warranty.

Battery Backup Power, Inc. is in direct competition with Power Oasis, Panasonic Eco Solutions, Green Tower, Altergy, Ballard Power Systems, and General Electric (GE). Since Battery Backup Power, Inc. has already started taking market share from the big Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) companies like GE, APC, and CyberPower in the consumer, medical, and laboratory UPS markets, breaking down the door to a new industry isn’t anything new for the company. Unlike the competition though, Battery Backup Power’s Founder Ross Modglin has a decade of experience working for rural utility companies in the Midwest, so the team understands the cost constraints and regulatory oversight involved with each project.
